3rd Regional WE Club successfully held in Sisian
The 3rd Regional WE Club took place in Sisian, Syunik Region on September 27 organised by the consortium of Goris Women Resource Center and Mirhav hotel. The latter are the successors of the WE Club platform in Syunik Region. The topic of the event was “Art of Sales”. As usual a special WE Hero was nominated, a highly creative and talented deisgner Natacha Kalafyan from MADE Dilijan. Having special skills of sales person who may be source of inspiration for other women, Natacha shared her story of success with the business women of Syunik Region on how she had started MADE - a handmade crafts and design center that involves local women and provides them with jobs. The traditional News blog was introduced by Goris Women Resource Center (GWRC) on “Festivals as innovative platform for business development”. GWRC also runs a production of garments and items made of wool which they exhibit in various expos and festivals. They are rather experienced in product markting and promotion locally and internationally, thus they had passed this infomation to the participants highlighting what was important for consideration and focusing while paticipating in expos and festivals.
The event took place in Basen Hotel in Sissian, where over 60 business people mainly from Sissian and Goris gathered.
Apart from networking, discussions were held on marketing and branding, economic development trends in the region and win-win competition in business.
As usual, the event was concluded by an expo of locally made goods and music performance.

"Think Bigger, Think Future "- the Women Entrepreneurs' Workshop was held on August 28th organised by SMEDA project, aiming at summing up the series of activities on enhancing women entrepreneurship implemented by the project through it WE Clubs, WE Talks and working groups. It gathered leading women entrepreneurs, BMO representatives, advisers and trainers in Armenia to exchange and share their experiences on successful models for women entrepreneurship, discuss the current challenges and suggest strategic approaches for further development and promotion of women empowerment topic. The event hosted special guests form Germany and Georgia: Tinatin Rukhadze, Jean Elsner and Amelia Omerika, who eagerly shared and presented their success stories with useful tips during the "Mentorship and Coaching for Women Entrepreneurs" event following the workshop.
The message delivered by Tinatin Rukhadze, founder of a consulting company in Georgia, trainer and coach was that if a woman wants to be successful she should be strong and believe in herself, and only after that the rest of the world will believe in what she does. Do not be afraid to try and challenge, be strong and patient on your way to success, this was one of the inspiring messages to the Armenian women entrepreneurs.
