The “Support to SME development in Armenia” (SMEDA) project is supporting the EAVE on Demand Producers Workshop in Armenia 2018, aimed at producers, both fiction and documentary, who are interested in developing their feature film project during a 3-day intensive training program outside of Yerevan from April 12 to 16. The consultancy will be given by internationally renowned EAVE experts -the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, which is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe, renowned for its EAVE Producers Workshop. This workshop is initiated and implemented by Independent Filmmakers' Club of Armenia with SMEDA's support.

The “Support to SME development in Armenia” (SMEDA) project invites Armenian Business Membership Organisations (BMO) to participate in BMO Academy, which is aiming at enhancement of the private sector’s capacities to organise itself as professional associations, being an essential prerequisite for a constructive dialogue with the authorities, as well as to ensure a coherent and effective dialogue when defining economic and sectoral policies. The Academy will be comprised of 3 weeks (Feb. -March 2018) : Week 1-Training, Week 2-Practicum in Europe and Week 3- On job training/coaching. The “Support to SME development in Armenia” (SMEDA) project, in cooperation with Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy and Goldsmiths University of London, will organise a 3-day training for Armenian startups and 1- day training for marketing companies. The training will cover the stat-up journey that businesses need to go on to successfully achieve funding, with a particular focus on gearing up for crowdfunding. It is aimed at entrepreneurs currently developing innovative products and services, ideas and solutions and will equip them with the skills and knowledge to promote, raise interest and eventually obtain investments and funding.

During this event, the selected startups have the chance to pitch to a group of interested Armenian and international investors. The Demo and Pitching event aims at building bridges between the tech scene and strong business people interested in investing in local ventures. Startups which are not only looking for funds but also for experience, network, sound boarding and more are invited to apply.
