The “Support to SME Development in Armenia (SMEDA)” Project seeks to contract a local company for production of a Marketing Package for the Armenian delegation to Hannover Messe 2018. SMEDA supports five Armenian Precision Engineering and IoT companies, representatives of Alliance, Meridian and Meghri Free Economic Zones, Gyumri and Vanadzor Techno Parks and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia (MEDI) to be part of this year's Hannover Messe 2018 trade fair with a joint stand, followed by a roadshow in German companies. All interested companies may apply by sending their applications (financial, technical offers) to GIZ Office according to the procedure described in Call for Proposals by February 16th, 2018. Science and Technology Convergence Forum kicked off in Yerevan
The European Union through its “Support to SME Development in Armenia” (EU-SMEDA) project supports the Science and Technology Convergence Conference (STCC) 2019, which is taking place on October 11-12. STCC is an annual conference co-organised by the IIAP of NAS RA andCatalyst Foundation(aSmartGateVC initiative). It is set to foresee the future of fundamental and applied research in Armenia. The conference brings together the community of researchers and engineers of different disciplines from both industry and academia that work on advanced technologies.
3rd Regional WE Club successfully held in Sisian
The 3rd Regional WE Club took place in Sisian, Syunik Region on September 27th organised by the consortium of Goris Women Resource Center and Mirhav hotel. The latter are the successors of the WE Club platform in Syunik Region. The topic of the event was “Art of Sales”.

"Think Bigger, Think Future "- the Women Entrepreneurs' Workshop was held on August 28th organised by EU-SMEDA project, aiming at summing up the series of activities on enhancing women entrepreneurship implemented by the project through its WE Clubs, WE Talks and working groups.
